Dear Jesus, thank you that we are like that tree planted by a continual source of water. Thank you that we, as believers, can put our trust in you and we don't need to fear the drought, and we will always be green and bearing fruit.
What if you and I were to no longer imagine the future and start fearing something that isn't even real? What if we were to instead only focus on what is true, real, pure, and lovely? In other words, not on the worst possible scenario... but on the good and perfect will of Christ.
Even though God is always close, He also wants to give us the best opportunity to feel and know His goodness in our lives. It is such a reminder and hope-bringer that whatever we are going through, it's an opportunity to see God and know Him.
As you fall in love with God through the pages of Scripture and fellowship with others who love God deeply, what will spill out of you will be a love for others, a love for Christ, a love for serving others, and will not grieve the spirit. Rather, it will bring joy to your soul.
Father, thank you for your Word. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse me from every wrong attitude and every wrong mindset that would keep me from being diligent. Help me to walk in diligence and excellence so that I may stand before great men and fulfill the destiny you have set before me.
Dear Jesus, please help us to keep in mind that the afflictions that we bear on this earth are preparing us for an eternity with you. Let us focus more on the things that we can't see than the things we can see. Let us focus more on the eternal than the transient.
Lord thank you for being there from the time we enter this earth and for making yourself known to us, Lord, when we were lost and clueless about you. Keep us close to your heart so we never doubt that we are seen and loved by you.
Father, thank you for being so kind and making a way for me to be free from shame and guilt. I come before you and lay it all at your feet. Father, I ask for your forgiveness and the grace to forgive myself. Let the blood of Jesus wash me clean and make me free.
Dear Jesus, I pray that those watching this video would walk with integrity and you would help them see where they have faltered in the past and how to do better next time. Help us all to seek that accountability and life of honesty, truthfulness, and integrity.
We have to grow our faith from that little mustard seed on from there. We have to take simple steps of obedience over and over.We have to practice living with the fruits of the Spirit so that it becomes a part of our character and who we are.
So many of us, when we are new believers, feast on the milk of the Word... but eventually, it's time for us to have solid food. The hunger pangs aren't able to be fed by just milk. At some point you have to grow up, and let today be the day that you determine to practice, practice, practice feasting on the Word of God.
I encourage you today to remember the One who is holy and on the throne. I encourage you to cry out to him, to trust in him and him alone, and you will not be disappointed.
The plans that we hold are ultimately under the surrender of the will of the Lord. Start to live with a posture of humble submission, allowing God to direct your steps.
Father, thank you for your word. I'm asking that you open a new chapter in my life. Help me to recognize the opportunities that you're placing before me and give me the courage to step forward in faith. Reveal your plans for my life and help me to walk boldly in the purposes you've set before me.
