After New Year’s weekend, it is no wonder why 116 million visitors flocked to Florida in 2017. The weather was glorious, and for many of our out of town guests, they can only hope each year that their college football team will be bowl eligible somewhere in the Sunshine State.
It is experiences like this extended weekend that is bringing visitors back here in droves when their retirement years arrive.
For our family, a New Year’s Eve cul-de-sac fireworks show with our neighbors, followed by a New Year’s Day meal and sunset observance at the St. Pete Beach high-rise revolving restaurant Spinners, made for a spectacular view to help our family leave behind a very challenging 2018 and look ahead to 2019.
Get outside and enjoy Florida’s 365 days a year snow and ice-free paradise.
