"Florida’s Space Coast to Rise Again”
Bill Bunkley here with Something To Think About
2019 is going to be an exciting year despite uncertain “Bearish” clouds overshadowing our financial markets and economy.
One of those exciting developments will take place right here in Florida and is reigniting that little boy that still resides inside of me: Manned space flights originating from our Space Coast.
No longer will American astronauts rocket from Russian soil.
Space X and Boeing are finalizing their testing on a spaceship which will launch our astronauts once again from the Kennedy Space Center.
On January 17th an unmanned test flight will hopefully lift off from the infamous Launch Pad 39A. If successful, astronauts could be heading to space from Florida in mid to late summer this year.
And that has me as excited as growing up here during the 60s and 70s space race.
