It’s time for Florida’s 46th Governor.
Dunedin native Ron DeSantis, a northeast Florida Republican congressman, rose above the purple hue with President Trump’s help to eke out a win to take over leadership of the sunshine state.
Other Republicans joining DeSantis on Florida’s Cabinet today is Tampa native Judge Ashley Moody, serving as Attorney General, our chief law enforcement officer. Panama City native and former state rep Jimmy Patronis is the newly elected Chief Financial officer, a post he has served in since appointed by Governor Rick Scott last year.
Miami native and chief medical marijuana lobbyist Democrat Nikki Fried is our new Agricultural Commissioner.
Keep a very close eye on the philosophical bent of this new Florida Cabinet and where they will take us into Florida’s future.
