Governor Ron DeSantis is wasting no time putting his conservative stamp on the Florida Supreme Court.
On Monday he was back in Miami choosing another Judge from the 3rd District Court of Appeals to serve on Florida’s high court, Judge Robert Luck.
Judge Luck is an observant Jew and will be the first Jewish Justice to serve in 20 years.
Judge Luck commented “I understand how the judiciary — what Hamilton called our least dangerous branch — fits into our system of government… Having worked in each of the three branches, I understand the modest role of the judge in reviewing the laws enacted by the legislature, the actions taken by the executive, and the findings of the lower courts.”
The Judge’s judicial restraint is music to conservative’s ears as they wait for DeSantis’s third pick.
