This week we noted the 47th anniversary of the poster child for U. S. Supreme Court judicial activism, the Roe v Wade abortion decision.
According to recent statistics from the National Right to Life, approximately 61,628,584 total abortions have occurred since 1973.
Today, Washington DC will witness the annual March for Life.
The very first march was held on January 22, 1974, on the West Steps of the Capitol. Twenty thousand supporters were in attendance.
Tens of thousands of Pro-Life advocates will gather on the National Mall today and for the first time a sitting President, Donald Trump, will address the gathering in person.
I thank the President for his open commitment to the Sanctity of Life.
His appearance will be a great encouragement to the Pro-Life movement.
