The first of two high drama points in the Impeachment Trial have arrived.
The partisan, House Democrat prosecution team presented their case. White House Lawyers put on their defense. Both sides endured two days of almost two hundred questions from Senators.
Three or four Senate Republicans are possibly in play to side with Senate Democrats seeking additional witnesses. Up to three Senate Democrats may side with Senate Republicans opposing more witnesses. The number is at least 51 Senators voting either way.
That will be the first high drama moment.
If the vote is NO for more witnesses, then Saturday, the Senate could take a final vote on Impeachment, at which time President Trump would be acquitted: the second and highest drama of the official Impeachment Trial.
