I cannot help but remember how President Trump’s adversaries claimed that he acted more like a king than a President. That title kept the political artists busy with all manner of satirical scenes with the royal robes flowing.
Fast forward to the very few first days of Biden’s Presidency. With the dozens of Executive Orders already cast upon his subjects, as if the Legislative Branch were nonexistent, Joe Biden is playing the King far more than any day in the Trump Presidency.
It's so bad and so obvious, Joe’s own New York Times Editorial Board called him out saying, “Ease up on the Executive Actions, Joe.”
Like many kings throughout world history, King Biden doesn’t seem to care about the lives of his kingdom subjects. No, it’s all about the agenda of his royal court.
Bill Bunkley is a 15-year veteran Salem Radio talk show host based in west-central Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 PM. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities.
