News is coming out of South Florida that people are not responding to telephone calls to schedule their 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Calls to schedule your second dose are not responded to because it might show up in the caller-id as a spam risk or some other warning designation you may have programmed on your phone.
If you miss the call to schedule your 2nd appointment, be sure to quickly follow-up on the voice mail that was left.
You must get your second shot to complete the vaccination process. With my pair of Moderna shots, it is at least two weeks after my 2nd shot before the vaccine is considered effective.
Whether that may or may not be accurate, don’t gamble your protection on that uncertainty.
Make plans to get that 2nd shot as soon your waiting time is over.
