In 1955, Disney Theme Park’s Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride was introduced, and it has proven to last the test of time. Today, it still gives little tots the thrill of an adventure around imaginary London.
Fast-forward to 2025, and Walt Disney’s visionary mind reminds us of another highly successful visionary dreamer: President Donald Trump.
Trump is known worldwide for his “Art of the Deal” negotiating style, but his “out-of-the-box” solutions are equally notable.
In his latest proposal, announced before an international audience, Trump envisioned transforming the war-torn Gaza Strip into the “Riviera of the Middle East,” reminiscent of Beirut, Lebanon, in the 50s, formerly known as the “Paris of the Middle East.”
One never knows what awaits us each day as the Global Trump Doctrine continues to roll out.

Bill Bunkley is a 19-year veteran Salem Media talk show host based in Tampa. The Bill Bunkley Show airs weekdays across central Florida from 3 to 6 pm. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, the legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Convention Churches), among other churches and entities. He has served as the legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention for the last 29 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee. By the Grace of his Lord Jesus, he is today a cancer survivor diagnosed in 2018 with AML Leukemia, having successfully undergone a bone marrow transplant that same year. His wife is Toni, son is Zac, and they attend Idlewild Baptist Church.
