Israel has begun construction on a security barrier that will enclose the Hamas controlled Gaza Strip.

Israelis know how to build successful security barriers. The concrete wall separating Jerusalem from the so-called West Bank cut Palestinian bombings and other terrorist attacks almost to zero.

The Gaza barrier will be fashioned after their Egyptian border barrier. Before being built in 2010 to cut the number of African illegal aliens crossing into Israel, 14,669 illegal Africans made it into Israel. After completion in the year 2016, only 14 made it into Israel.

The Gaza barrier will be a “see-thru,” 20 foot high galvanized fence, with an underground wall to foil tunnel attacks.  It will be finished by the end of 2019.  

Sounds exactly like what we need on our southern border.
