Whew, we’ve come to the end of one of the most tumultuous weeks in Washington.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Trump continued their schoolyard brawl, trading slights at State of the Union. Trump skewered his rivals to begin his National Prayer Breakfast remarks. Pelosi later tears into Trump, pardon the pun, at her press conference. Trump returns the favor later at his presser.

Impeachment is over, the victory lap complete, Trump won. The two combatants should get back to work, dialog, and pass issues that are at least bipartisan. 

Both must move past their bitter rivalries and get back to taking care of the people’s business that only can be resolved in Congress. 

But I hear you asking if I think this will really happen?

To that, I say, no comment.
