Today is a day marked by Florida State Legislators and all the advocates and citizens participating in the 2022 legislative session.
It is the halfway point in this year’s 60-day lawmaking process.
And that marks the mad dash by advocates to get their proposed legislation heard in at least one committee. If not, hundreds of proposed bills will be dead for this year as the committee review process will be concluded during the next two weeks.
Fortunately, several vital bills I am supporting important to those with a conservative or Christian worldview are progressing well and are positioned to obtain legislative approval before adjournment on March 11.
Progress on these issues is the result of elections in Florida. Never forget, every vote is crucial, especially yours.
Florida’s future is at stake.

Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities.
