Did you hear that owner Mark Cuban of the Dallas Mavericks announced that the National Anthem would not be played at their home games? But did you also know that they have not been playing the anthem since their season began?
And did you know that was ok with the NBA front office until it was not ok with the front office?
On Tuesday, NBA spokesman Tim Frank said, “Under the unique circumstances of this season, teams are permitted to run their program operations as they see fit.”
On Wednesday, The NBA back reversed; all teams would play the anthem.
Let’s see; the NBA was for it until they were against it until they were for it again.
It seems to me it came down to a revenue decision versus a politically correct decision.
It’s a lesson in leadership you don’t want to adopt.
