Deal or no deal, that’s what people all across America will be talking about for the rest of the week until the Friday deadline to avoid another partial government shutdown runs out.

Congressional leadership worked over the past weekend up until Tuesday to come up with a compromise. When asked about the deal President Trump was coy in that he said he didn’t like the deal but also said he didn’t expect a government shutdown over it unless Democrats did something to kill the deal.

Also, Trump boldly asserted that the wall he wanted would get built, may be funded out of unspent construction money previously approved in the defense budget.

I am reminded by another famous New Yorker, Yogi Berra, who said: “It ain’t over till it’s over.”

With Donald Trump, it ain't over until it’s over.
