The faces of sex trafficking were in Tallahassee making the strongest case for combating the scourge of modern-day slavery in Florida.

Connie Rose and Linsey Ruth gave personal accounts of the horrors they survived while held as human slaves. Their testimonies are unbelievable, but true.

But the next big issue to be considered as human trafficking bills are moving through both legislative chambers is what role and what responsibility, if any, do hotels and motels play in the huge underground industry?

Connie Rose says hotels and motels are where the largest percentage of sex trafficking takes place.

So what do you think? Should hotels and motels be totally liable, somewhat liable or not liable at all when a sex trafficking conviction in one of their rooms is reached?

That’s the next big question legislators will decide.
