Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump completed their first official meeting.
It was clear the collegially and positive atmosphere shared between the two was a stark contrast from a few weeks ago when former President Obama turned his back America’s close ally.
Both Netanyahu and Trump share similar views on the deal with Iran. Both agree it was a bad deal and deeply distrust the ruling regime when it comes to their ongoing development of a nuclear weapon capable of striking Israel.
Unlike his predecessor, President Trump will not push a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians. In fact, Trump is interested in considering other alternatives and will act as a facilitator and not dictate a resolution as Obama had.
All in all, it’s evident that the U.S. and Israeli relationship is solidly back on track.
