Many Floridians attempting to get a vaccine appointment are learning it is an elusive, time-consuming proposition.
Even with Publix and Walmart locations easing the vaccination backlog, obtaining an appointment requires persistence. And the massive snow and ice storm blanketing much of the country means further vaccine delays are expected as air and trucking deliveries are being postponed.
In your frustration, don’t be fooled by scam artists calling you, texting you, or emailing you with an offer of a COVID vaccination. Unless it is your known doctor’s office or a healthcare provider known to you, please don’t take their bait. They want your personal information to rip you off.
