Just when you thought Parkland’s massacre details could not get worse, now we learn the bombshell news that the trained Broward county school resource was, after all, right outside of the classroom building while the shooting was taking place.

For six minutes while the attack was underway, this officer was hiding outside the targeted building behind a pillar for four of those six minutes, doing nothing to engage the shooter inside.

This is too much.

The failures: first it was the FBI times two, then the Broward County Sheriff’s office with multiple previous calls of service on the shooter, Florida’s Department of Children & Families investigators who minimized the shooter cutting himself and being deeply depressed and now what many are labeling a “cowardly” school resource officer.

What a historic, total system failure of indescribable proportions.
