The images coming across our television screens from halfway around the world are shocking and unbelievable.
A free, peaceful, democratic country is turned upside overnight as fathers say goodbye to their wives and children. Older generations hunker down in their homes, and 100,000 children in orphanages are at the mercy of invading Russians.
Ukraine is a traumatized nation.
And the people of Ukraine cannot understand why no one is coming to help.
But standing alone will not deter the men of Ukraine. Every male 18 to 60 will stay behind and fight for their country.
And they will defend every home, every street, every inch of real estate for as long as it takes.
This is the Ukrainian resistance. This is the Ukrainian underground.
May God somehow grant them supernatural success to oust Putin’s forces.
Bill Bunkley is a 15-year veteran Salem Radio talk show host based in west-central /Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 pm.
