Technology is improving our lives almost every day. That’s not to say that technology also brings along with it both intended and unintended consequences, some not good.
This story is good consequences.
When was the last time you queued up at your local auto tag office? If you live in Hillsborough County your wait time was radically reduced.
That’s because Hillsborough County Tax Collector Doug Belden just introduced automatic self-service kiosks inside his facilities whereby you can instantly renew your auto tag without waiting for a clerk. Belden’s office is the first in the state to offer up the service.
Kiosks are located at their Drew Park, Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. University Center Drive, and Falkenburg Road offices.
Now that’s technology we can all get excited about!
