Here we go again. It’s that time of the year where we must comply with federal regulations and spring our clocks forward one hour to accommodate Daylight Savings Time.

You might remember that our Florida Legislature & Governor voted and approved legislation requesting Congress to allow Floridians the ability to maintain Daylight Saving Time year-round.

Senator Marco Rubio and other senators have continued their efforts to get the measure approved, but Congress has failed to act on Florida’s and other states' requests.

Just like the federal budget, Congress is too distracted to spend time taking care of the people’s business.

Whatever happened to state’s rights?

These days state’s rights seldom exist without a court fight.
