Few times while history is in the making, is one so keenly aware that they are a part of it: This is one of those times.

COVID 19 will be defeated, but in the process, it will change the world as we know it. We’ve been abruptly reminded that none of us are invincible.

As we hunker down at home for what’s looking like weeks and not days, we’re learning more about ourselves day by day, as well as our fellow Americans.

Biblical wisdom tells us that trust in God, exercising patience and endurance, are foundational for traveling through this crisis. 

One day we will be on the other side of this pandemic, and one day we’ll look back on these times and will be telling future generations what it was like when life as we knew it, stood still.

What stories we will have to tell.

Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities. He has served as legislative consultant to the Convention for the last 24 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee.
