Secretary of State Mike Pompeo speculated that God may have raised up President Trump similar to Queen Esther for his strong commitment to Israel.
In the book of Esther the queen, who was Jewish but never told the King, learned a King’s decree would annihilate the Jewish people. As Esther struggled with what she should do, Mordachi her uncle challenged her with a famous quote from Esther 4:14 “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family perish. And who knows but you have come to your royal position for such a time as this.”
The Queen went to the King unannounced, for which she could have been killed, but instead was received and saved the Jewish people.
Pompeo’s speculation may be spot on.
