Frequent users of SunPass toll roads are at their wit's end.

The SunPass billing debacle is a bad dream that keeps on giving. The botched update to their billing software has provided months of billing delays for SunPass users, and in many instances inaccurate billing to boot when one finally received their toll billing.

For some, auditing their toll bill is more challenging than completing a crossword puzzle.

So, Governor DeSantis has stepped in and ordered that Conduent, the contractor, be fined to the fullest extent for their contract performance deficiencies with the state, which to date is about $4.6 million and climbing.

Also, the Governor ordered the waiver of all late penalties and fees until June 1^st.

That will give plenty of time to figure out your SunPass crossword puzzle.
