He has risen, He has risen indeed!
That greeting and reply will be repeated countless times on Easter around the globe, marking the moment at daybreak when the female followers of Jesus discovered His empty tomb.
Jesus was hurriedly placed in a rich man’s tomb. But now he was gone, vanished. The colossal stone sealing the tomb had been rolled away.
And so the only empty tomb, of all the leaders of the various religions down through the ages, was vacant, despite an armed guard posted around Jesus’ tomb to prevent this very occurrence.
So what about this Jesus? Is He the Son of God, the Redeemer, or is He the biggest hoax and liar to walk the face of the earth?
His empty tomb begs you to answer that question for yourself.
As for me and my house, He is our Lord and Savior.
