The Polk County Sheriff’s Department under the leadership of Sheriff Grady Judd has made it abundantly clear for years that pedophiles and other sexual predators are very public targets if they try to operate in his county.
The latest headline from WFLA News read “16 men arrested in Polk County Child sex sting’ by way of Operation Cyber Guardian.
But why are Judd’s repetitive sting operations so successful? With so many very public busts in Polk County for various sex crimes, why do offenders still come to Polk County?
I believe it is because the deviant behavior that drives these individuals is much more of an epidemic among us than many would acknowledge.
And the real scary part is just how many more online child predators are out there, hiding in the cyberspace shadows.
