Abortion: Then & Now

Bill Bunkley’s “This Is Something to Think About Commentary”

Air Date Thursday, April 11, 2024

Abortion will be a driving wedge in the 2024 election.

Prior to Roe v Wade being struck down, pro-life politicians were very vocal about their unconditional support of unborn life in the womb.

Post Roe, a pivot has emerged from some pro-life politicians.

President Trump is the most pro-life president ever, backed by his record in office. But this week, he has disappointed some pro-lifers with a states-only, non-federal abortion law position without saying when abortions should be illegal.

Arizona U. S. Senate Candidate Kari Lake, two years ago, fully supported an 1864 state law outlawing most abortions, but now that the Arizona Supreme Court has upheld that law, she says it is out of step with Arizonans.

Frustrating yes.

But remember, President Biden and his Democrats are the most extreme late-term abortion supporters ever.

Stay with Trump.
