The 2023-2024 school year will soon be in the record books, and the results of the high school/college cheating tool of the century will be included: AI Artificial Intelligence.
The Trumpet reports that Turnitin, an online plagiarism-spotting service, reported that over 22 million high school and college papers were at least 20% AI-generated in 2023. Of 200 million papers students turned in in 2023, 11% were not their own work.
The late Herbert W. Armstrong noted, “Education has become a combination of the agnosticism of evolution, the politics and economy of Karl Marx, and the morals and social patterns of Sigmund Freud. Higher education remains in utter ignorance of the mystery of mankind and human civilization.”
Gaming the system is the compass of this age, trumping America’s historic ideals of character and integrity.
