“Closed Doors Mean New Opportunities”
Bill Bunkley with Something to Think About
As the State of Florida struggles to catch up with the processing of hundreds of thousands of unemployment claims, concerns over the health component of COVID-19 will shift to the damage it has inflicted on both the national and state economy.
Florida will begin to open back up in the next few days. For some, it will be welcomed relief that they can get back to work again. For others, their world is upside down, their jobs have vanished.
Through a lifetime, doors of opportunity open, and, conversely, doors will close.
Most of the time, when a door closes, as in one’s current unemployment, a new door will open that often provides a better opportunity than before.
If any state is going to be on the leading edge of recovery, it will be Florida.
And new doors will open.
