I’m Bill Bunkley with Something To Think About.

The controversial Wheaties and Whiskey bill, HB 81, that would allow hard alcohol sales on the family friendly shelves of Walmart, Target and convenience stores, will be a close vote. 

I’ve opposed the bill for 4 legislative sessions on behalf of the Florida Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission.  

Just a few days ago two of the most highly paid, powerful lobbyists in Tallahassee, at who knows what cost, were hired to work mostly Democrats and a few Republicans in the Florida House to switch their votes and support the bill.

It's crunch time: if you agree to keep hard alcohol out of family friendly stores, now is the time to call your Florida House member and ask them to vote NO on HB 81.

Call today. Time is of the essence; they’ll be voting on HB 81 Tuesday or Wednesday.
