With the election of President Trump rose an obscure northwest Florida Congressman named Ron DeSantis. The Dunedin native, Yale and Harvard graduate, Navy JAG officer, was best known as a Trump loyalist in the U. S. House.
Later, by first appearances, he rode on the President’s popularity in Florida to eke out a close victory to become our 46th Governor.
Today DeSantis is anything but obscure. He’s his own man. He has proven his leadership bonfires apart from his good friend Donald Trump.
COVID-19 has exposed a remarkable, hands-on leader, and Floridians should be greatly appreciative of the job he has done charting Florida through this crises.
Governor DeSantis is a leader’s leader. Will anyone be surprised when Ron DeSantis ends up in the Oval Office one day?
