“Today Florida Ceases to be Abortion Destination State, For Now”

Today, Florida ceases to be an abortion destination state, for now.

The Florida Supreme Court upheld the state's 15-week abortion ban passed by the legislature three years ago. It's a landmark ruling declaring a Right to Privacy provision was illegally applied to abortions by previous liberal Supreme Court justices.

Subsequently, two years ago, the Governor signed a 6-week abortion ban that would take effect if the court upheld the 15-week ban.

Today, that Florida 6-week abortion ban is now law. 

Out-of-state women who've been traveling to Florida for abortions due to Florida's more liberal 15-week ban, as compared to other southern states' tighter restrictions, will come here no more.

All this gets canceled if the proposed state constitution Amendment 4, granting abortions all the way to birth, is approved.

So be sure you vote NO on 4 in November.
