The Florida Legislature has wrapped up its regular session.

If Governor DeSantis goes along we will have self-driving car statutes, hospitals built without state approval, telehealth, Canadian drug importation, the banning of  texting while driving, sanctuary cities ban, felon voting rights, smokeable medical marijuana, opioid addiction prevention, needle exchanges and so much more.

In my mind, its greatest failure was in the Florida Senate, where they held up passage of the Parental Consent to Abortion that had passed the full House; but I have experience with disappointment in the Senate too many times before when dealing with the abortion issue.

It takes courage to fight the fight for the unborn. That courage was missing from some in the Florida Senate. It was lacking this year.
