When the news broke from the late great Boy Scouts of America that "boy" was to be abolished from its name, it was a moment when "wokeness" put the final nail in the coffin of a once-great organization.
The moral "freefall" began in 2013 when the Scouts announced gay scouts and gay scoutmasters were welcomed into its ranks.
As a result, membership tanked a gigantic 43%. Sexual abuse of the boys over the years forced the Boy Scouts into bankruptcy: 82,000 sex abuse claims filed with the bankruptcy court.
After 114 years in America, being “morally straight” lost its meaning.
