The deep divide across America could not be more evident than competing headlines recently on the same day.
“Alabama Passes Bill Banning Abortion” by the BBC and CBN’s headline “Vermont Legislators Vote for Unrestricted Abortion at Any Stage of Pregnancy.” Both reflect the showdown that will eventually come to the U. S. Supreme Court.
One state going for a total ban on abortions while the other state would approve any abortion at any time leading up to birth.
Suddenly, Roe v. Wade doesn’t look like so called settled law anymore.
But there’s more than just sending up any pro-life case to the high court. It has to be the right case with the right provisions.
And pro-life attorneys are already saying Alabama’s proposed total abortion ban is not the right case to send up.
