If it were a complicated question about God the Father, His son Jesus or the Holy Spirit, apologist Ravi Zacharias had the answer.
If it were a simple question from one of the thousands of college students he lectured, his answer would always have a level of intrigue that would captivate the campus event.
The planet’s leading Christian Apologist, Ravi Zacharias, succumbed to cancer yesterday at home in Atlanta.
Ravi’s motivation was never to be known as the smartest Christian on the block. No, his sole motivation was to lead others to a life-altering decision to accept and follow Christ.
I can only imagine what that moment was like yesterday morning when Ravi Zacharias met his Savior face to face in Paradise, hearing the words “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
Bill Bunkley is a 14-year veteran Salem Radio Network talk show host based in west-central Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 PM. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities. He has served as legislative consultant to the Convention for the last 24 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee.
