"Lottery Chief Doesn’t Want You To Be Warned About Addictive Gambling”

Bill Bunkley with Something to Think About

Former Florida Lottery Chief and current Tennessee Education Lottery CEO, Rebecca Paul Hargrove, is showing the true nature behind state lotteries.

She has asked our Governor, Ron DeSantis, all the way from Tennessee mind you, to veto legislation that would include a statement on lottery tickets that “lottery gambling” could become addictive.

The Tennessee message tells me that we anti-gambling proponents may be on to something; that is, a larger number than previously estimated of lottery addicts, especially those among the targeted poor.

In fact, the Tennessee Lottery CEO claims not vetoing the warning would create a loss of $61 million.

Could this be the real number addicted gamblers are losing to the lottery?

If so, that is all the reason to sign the bill with the lottery warnings.
