We all make mistakes and, in most cases, deserve a second chance. Forgiveness is essential, especially from a Christian Worldview.
But sometimes forgiveness takes interesting turns.
Hillsborough County Schools hired Anthony Collins as its director of security and emergency management. You may remember Collins was in the middle of cheating allegations in 2025 at the Hillsborough Sheriff's office. The allegations point to cheating on testing at the FBI National Academy. He resigned while maintaining his innocence.
Now I don’t know if Collins is guilty of cheating.
But I do know that cheating using AI is a big problem in schools these days.
Collins was not hired as an entry-level policing officer, but, ironically, as the director of security.
And that has people talking.
