A political supporter of Senator Bernie Sanders attempted to gun down an unarmed group of Republican members of Congress, who were defenseless while practicing for a bipartisan charity event.
The 66 year old shooter, who I’ll not name here as I will not be a part of any effort to give this coward one shred of publicity, was a volunteer at Sanders events.
The would be assassin had a rap sheet of a drunk driving arrest, resisting arrest plus assault and battery.
Model citizen right?
But are you really surprised?
When you have a member of Congress yelling at President Trump’s political appointee in a confirmation hearing, a comedian applauded for holding up a decapitated head of the President, and a new Broadway Play Caesar where a Trump look alike gets stabbed to death to the delight of the audience, it’s no wonder these tragedies are happening.
