Today’s life in America seems to be all about uncertainties.
The COVID-19 saga continues to be a major factor in our daily lives, even though some are dismissing many of the personal safety protocols out in public places.
Then you have the disturbing images of the daily scenes of violent lawlessness wearing on our senses.
We all want to know something definitive about when will COVID-19 will be under control. We all want to know what the future holds for our communities after the protest demonstrations cease.
It is important during these times to stay the course while living our daily lives. Don’t fall prey to the negative, pessimistic talk that surrounds us. Remain optimistic.
The Bible teaches us to focus and live one day at a time, wise advice for these troubling times.
Bill Bunkley is a 14-year veteran Salem Radio Network talk show host based in west-central Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 PM. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities. He has served as legislative consultant to the Convention for the last 24 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee.
