A meaningful life lesson is how to respond to others in those moments when you receive a correction of one kind or another.
In those moments, do you take kindly to correction?
Most of us would say yes and no. Often it has a lot to do with who is doing the correcting.
If you have developed wisdom in this area, you have learned to remain calm and filter out the moment's emotions. It is essential to listen carefully to the merits of the correction and determine if it is valid.
Remember that correction may turn the light on to something you should address, leading to your personal growth and transformation.
If your automatic, in-the-moment reaction is to reject correction immediately, you are probably holding back your personal development.
Always react wisely, and change is good.
