Are tensions rising in America? Is the quality of life dropping?
A new NPR-IBM Watson Health poll found that 84% indicated they felt America’s population is angrier than just a generation ago.
Probing deeper, the same people polled admitted that 42% of them said their anger issues occurred more than in years past.
The trend is alarming in that a constant level of increased anger adds to unnecessary stress, which over time leads to a multitude of health issues.
The sense that “the world evolves around me” and the “narcissism” that fuels that false notion has given rise to the idea that Americans are constantly being offended by someone.
America has become an angry nation, but you don’t have to participate.
Choose to chill, be kind to others and you’ll soar above the conflicts.
