Air Date Wednesday, July 1, 2026
Yesterday saw the final day of the current term of the United States Supreme Court. And some of the most consequential cases the high court considered this term were finally revealed.
President Trump had some wins and losses.
In the case of birthplace citizenship, the Supremes ruled against the President. Regardless of their parents' legal status, all children born here qualify for U. S. citizenship.
Biological boys can no longer compete in girls' athletic competitions.
And the Court also struck down a 50-year-old federal limit on campaign spending by political parties, allowing them to spend unlimited funds as long as they comply with federal law.
The Justices will take the balance of the summer off and will return on September 28 for their opening conference for the next term.
