Another American company shows its true colors are not red, white nor blue.
Former San Fran quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, who’s perfected the art of protest far more than his football prowess, has been offended. Again.
And again it is over his definition of racism.
Nike shoes has been supportive of Kaepernick through his controversies over the years.
Just when they were releasing their new Betsy Ross red, white & blue shoes, with America’s first flag in time for the 4th, they panicked, pulled the shoes off the shelves.
All because Kaepernick defined the flag as racist.
I call out racism when I see it and to me this doesn’t meet the test. The Betsy Ross flag means a lot of things, not just a period of racism.
Nike, huge mistake!
For me and my house, we’ll be buying anything but Nikes.
