“Grady Judd Not Happy About ICE Trying to Poach His Sheriff Deputies

Bill Bunkley’s “This Is Something to Think About”

Air Date Tuesday, August 5, 2025

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is not a happy camper, to say the least, about Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE, trying to poach some of his department’s deputies.

To hire up to 10,000 new ICE agents the agency is sending out recruitment letters offering a $50,000 signing bonus to members of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office as well as other law enforcement agencies across the state.

In typical Judd style he responded by saying “That’s biting the hand that’s feeding you.”

He is angry.

Judd also called out Security of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem who is overseeing the recruiting effort by declaring “Kristi Noem needs to get her big boy pants on and do what’s right” and stop poaching Florida cops and make sure she apologizes for doing so.

Kristi, I have some advice, don’t mess with Grady Judd!

Keep your hands out of the cookie jar.
