“Loneliness: A National Epidemic”

People brag about how many friends they have on social media. Many are desperately disillusioned to believe the lie about how popular they are.

Social media has single handily skyrocketed narcissism to outer-space levels. We see signs of it everywhere we go.

The truth is those little electronic hand-held gadgets, and their addictive tentacles, entrap a vast number of Americans who transform into the loneliest people on the planet. And our children and young adults lead the nation in this entrapment, so much so the U. S. Surgeon General says loneliness is a public health threat equal to smoking and obesity.

Loneliness is a dark, painful secret.

Be wise; crackdown on your screen time first, then your kids; don’t continue to stay physically disconnected.

Get back to church on a regular basis and get reconnected.
