President Trump’s efforts to block Planned Parenthood from receiving federal funds for abortions took a huge step forward. Profilers are very pleased.
A panel of judges on the 9th Circuit Board of Appeals dealt a serious blow to Planned Parenthood by allowing President Trump’s Protect Life Rule to move forward, blocking about $60 million in Title X funding to America’s largest abortion provider while the merits of the case is decided.
$60 million family planning dollars would now go to other family planning groups, such as crises pregnancy centers.
Planned Parenthood’s Leana Wen lamented “This is devastating news.”
I say it is good news for the unborn.
With the high cost Planned Parenthood charges for abortions, they don’t deserve to keep a monopoly on federal tax dollar assistance.
