President Biden is traveling to Israel and Saudi Arabia. In Israel, he met with Israeli and Palestinian leaders in separate meetings.

To the dismay of Israeli officials, his Palestinian meeting occurred on Israeli soil in Jerusalem, not in Ramallah or Bethlehem. Biden’s opening of a Palestinian consulate also in Jerusalem questions the city’s eternal capital of Israel status.

The President signed the “Jerusalem Declaration,” a strategic partnership that reaffirms the unbreakable bonds between the two countries and the enduring commitment of the United States to Israel’s security.

Also newsworthy was Israel’s Channel 12 television interview in which President Biden stated that military force from the United States is on the table with Iran as a last result to stop them from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
