Yesterday was 9 days since a 20-year-old kid defeated the Secret Service Butler, PA, plan to protect former President Donald Trump.
Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle has been assessing and gathering the facts about her agency's admitted colossal failure for 9 days. She was to present those facts to an open hearing of a very accusing, bipartisan U.S. House Oversite Committee.
To the shock of Americans watching the hearing, they saw a complete "stonewalling" of Congress by Director Cheatle.
The committee got "0" creditable details from her testimony.
Despite the urgency of the situation, no one has been fired or suspended, leaving the public with a sense of outrage and concern.
That person or persons are still on the job planning other events.
That's very troubling.
And Cheatle's defiance of not resigning is the most troubling of all.
